Katrina H. Young, CMT
Katrina Young is a Certified Massage Therapist whose work is rooted in both skill and intuition. Originally from the Philippines, she is affectionately known as “Twinkle”—a nickname that reflects her gentle, calming presence. From a young age, Katrina felt a natural calling to bodywork, often offering massages to family members as a way to care for and connect with them.
After moving to California, Katrina expanded her path in healing by earning her yoga instructor certification, deepening her understanding of the body, breath, and energy. She later trained at the McKinnon Body Therapy Center and continued her education through mentorship with experienced healers, refining her approach to therapeutic and intuitive touch.
Katrina is currently on a new chapter of her journey, studying to become an End-of-Life Doula—an extension of her commitment to supporting others through care, presence, and compassion during life’s most sacred transitions.
She lives in Richmond Annex with her husband, Michael, their two children, Joe and Diana, and their three cats—Henry, Bruce, and Jojo. Outside of her practice, Katrina finds peace in meditation, the soothing rhythm of ocean waves, and creative expression through painting, drawing, and playing crystal singing bowls.
